The Video Advertising Platform (VidAds) is an online trading and management platform
that provides a marketplace where advertisers and
publishers buy and sell advertising inventory.
As an advertising platform it is the trusted 3rd party that manages the workflow
from selection of video and price (CPM) for the ad all the way to the serving and
tracking the ad live on the publisher’s site. It allows
users to trade ad inventory freely and transparently similar to how a stock exchange
functions. Advertisers and
publishers can see the bid and ask prices in real time for their inventories.
Any Publishers, Advertisers
and Agencies around the world can register. Funds are
added from the Advertiser wishing to place their
advert on to a Publisher's ad space.
Advertisers and Publishers can find each other
on the exchange with sophisticated advanced searches that can be stored for future
reuse. We have applied Web2.0 social networking paradigms for users on the system
to organize the process of finding potential trading partners.
Advertisers and Publishers can cluster in
groups based around events or self determined criteria and trade at that level.
Once a transaction has completed, VidAds becomes the trusted 3rd party that manages
and serves the ad. Using high-performance scalable Ad servers from data centres
around the globe, it ensures that ads appear on publisher’s
websites without any hiccups or delays.
Publishers get a unique code to request ads from VidAds
and can filter ads based on parameters values. Ads are categorized by region, country,
genre, campaign, ad format type, start and end date, groups, and CPM. Requests and
notifications are sent between advertisers and publishers that only after approval are made active
so that changes in ad agreements are verified before going live.
The VidAds platform has been organized into three separate product categories. The first is the open marketplace. The other two product categories allow for agencies to leverage our platform to build their own next generation video ad networks. Agencies can buy a license to package our software off-site or use a private branded marketplace on our hosted servers. By running their own video ad networks, agencies can provide value-added service to niche clients. Within the private marketplace there is the option for an agency to partially open up to more advertisers and publishers from the greater pool.
The business process steps are defined as follows
- A variety of video file formats can be uploaded which are batch encoded with editable properties on the VidAds server.
- Once Advertiser`s ad inventory or Publisher`s ad space is made public on the marketplace, it also becomes publicly available to bid on.
- Reporting of click/impression metrics and billing transactions is available in real time for each Ad campaign.
The VidAds platform has been under development for over a year now and we have created a unique platform that allows online video ads to be traded socially.
After a Publisher registers
An advertiser can request to use a publisher's space, or a publisher can request to use an advertiser’s video and campaign.
The campaign will be live after the request is agreed.

Generally, when you see an ad served by VidAds on a Web site, our marketplace is
used by a client Web site to provide services including ad delivery, reporting or
analysis. Advertisers can also take advantage on

- Local advertisers: The geo-targeting will allow us to identify from which areas users access the site from and enables local advertisers to place ads targeting a specific area.

2. Publishers want to make money
from renting ad space on their sites. They have content and traffic and are keen
to display relevant slick looking ads to generate revenue. Knowing that they can
change the parameters to request only certain ads allows them to keep Ads related
to the content on their sites.
VidAds shall be entitled to require payment in advance from
Advertisers looking to run campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
3. Agencies such as Media Planning and
Buying agencies already need to manage campaigns for clients
and have ad spend budgets that need to be allocated across a range of publishing
sites. For the agency, the main benefit of using the Video
Ad Platform is that there are settings that let them plan campaigns for different
advertisers whilst also seeing what
publishers` ad space is available and knowing that each ad display can be
tracked and reported on.
We will cater to the ‘Long Tail’ by purchasing left over advertising inventory and
combine that with cheap publisher space.
Our Competition
The user experience of a marketplace is of paramount importance, as
Advertisers and Publishers have to fit the
technology into their workflow. VidAds is structured in a simple open manner so
as to complement and extend the existing workflow. The technology provides a platform

Our Pricing
Advertisers are charged based on
the cost per thousand views (CPM) they agree with the publishers.
They are required to credit their Video Advertising Platform accounts so that their
video ads are made available to Publishers. Video
Advertising Platform offers a revenue share with Publishers
of 85%/15% in the publisher's favour.
Agency commission is a standard 15%
